2024 Fall League

The purpose of our Fall League is simple – to provide an opportunity for youth baseball players to improve (or maintain) their skill level during the “off season” through additional game repetitions!  The Fall League is a time to build and refine skills in preparation for the spring season ahead.  While we want all players to play hard and compete with their best efforts, we will not be keeping individual statistics.  Our focus will be skill refinement and improvement through competitive game experiences.

Teams are encouraged to register.  Individuals who register will be assigned to a roster based on age level.  Coaches and/or parents are encouraged to volunteer for open coaching positions and also will benefit by learning the Nebraska way.

The Fall League runs for 4 weeks on Sundays and will include 90 minute instructional sessions at Haymarket Park on Tuesday evenings.

All games will have umpires and will be held at various fields throughout the City of Lincoln and area communities.  Age levels for this League are:  5/6th graders, 7/8th graders, 9/10th graders and 11/12th graders

Games feature on-field instruction by the Academy staff during teachable moments to ensure maximum learning potential.  Improve your team! Improve your game!

COACHES:   If you have an organized team that you will be coaching, you will be required to register for the Coach’s Only registration for your specific league level and answer all the registration fields, including team name.  Once submitted, you will receive an email from the Oasys Team with a link that you will share with your entire team….informing them that all players should register for Fall League by searching for the specific PROGRAM CODE feature.  The player would have to enter the code in order to be able to register with this team.  From there, the process would be normal, and the waivers and payment would then be taken care of at that level by the players.  Coaches will only be responsible for submitting Team Information; players will be responsible for the registration/waiver process using the link provided.  If you have only a partial team, the Nebraska Baseball Academy will add players to your team using individual registrations.  *PLEASE NOTE:  All organized team requests must be submitted no later than 2 days prior to the “early bird” deadline.  This will give staff enough time to process program codes for your team and give participants enough time to get registered before the “early bird” deadline.  If coaches do not cooperate with this deadline, we can’t guarantee that program codes will be processed before the “early bird” deadline.

MANDATORY Fall League Coaches Clinic:   Sunday, August 25 (1pm – 3pm)

*The Nebraska Baseball Academy will provide a t-shirt/hat for two coaches.  If you have additional assistants, you will be allowed to purchase additional t-shirts/hats at the Coaches Clinic.
