The primary goal of the Nebraska Baseball Academy is to help each athlete develop a positive mental attitude about themselves and the game of baseball. Our focused instruction provides campers with sound fundamentals, disciplined work habits, drill work for personal work, and a passion for the game. Our personalized approach helps build confidence. We want our athletes to confidently approach their next challenge and help them contribute to their personal goals and those set by their coaches and team.

It is the policy of the Nebraska Baseball Academy to admit any and all qualified applicants without regard to disability, race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin or sexual orientation.

The Nebraska Baseball Academy does not provide local transportation from the airport, bus station or train depots for any participants to the camp facilities. Stars of Tomorrow Camp

High School Players Only

This camp is exclusively for those student-athletes who are 2015, 2016, and 2017 high school graduates. The Stars of Tomorrow Camp is a unique blend of evaluations, teaching instruction and game situations which allow participants to learn the game of baseball from the Husker Coaching Staff. Pitching, hitting and defense will be emphasized during the morning session, followed by a scrimmage against other participants during the afternoon. Area Division II, NAIA and Junior College coaches will be invited to attend this camp.

Location: Hawks Field at Haymarket Park

Time/Date: Monday, July 29 (8am - 4pm) OR Tuesday, July 30 (8am - 4pm)

Day Camps

2nd grade - 2014 High School Seniors

Each summer we conduct several Day Camps in various towns throughout the state of Nebraska. Day Camps are what we consider All Skills Camps on the road! Day Camps typically run from 9am – 2:30pm. If your community has interest in hosting a day camp, please contact Renee Brinkmann at the Nebraska Baseball Office (402) 472-2269 or rbrinkmann@huskers.com. She would be happy to discuss the requirements for hosting a summer camp in your area in the Summer of 2013.

2013 Fall League

5th Grade - 2014 High School Seniors

The Fall League is a mini-season experience. The purpose is to provide participants an opportunity to continue improving their overall baseball skills and development during the fall. It provides the chance for more innings, repetitions, and extra at-bats needed in order to continue development on basic baseball fundamentals.

Teams are encouraged to register; individuals who register will be assigned to a roster based on age level. Coaches and/or parents are encouraged to volunteer for open coaching positions and also will benefit by learning the Nebraska way through a coaches clinic and in-game instruction.

The Fall League runs for 5 weeks on Sundays and will include on Tuesday evening session for skill instruction. All games will have umpires and will be held at various fields throughout the City of Lincoln and area communities. Age Levels for this League are: 11/12, 13/14, High School

Games feature on-field instruction by the Academy staff during teachable moments to ensure maximum learning potential. Improve your team, Improve your game.

Registration Deadline: Monday, August 5 (all registrations/rosters must be received by this date)

Coaches Clinic

The Nebraska Baseball Coaches Clinic is for high school, college and youth baseball coaches --anyone who wants to learn more about the game of baseball. I hope you will join us, along with Darin Erstad, Will Bolt, Ted Silva, Jeff Christy and Curtis Ledbetter as we work together in helping to make kids better all-around baseball players.

Location: Hawks Championship Center and the Haymarket Park Indoor Facility

High School All Skills Camp

High School Players Only

During the High School All Skills Camp, Husker and Academy staff members will stress proper techniques and drills necessary for building a strong baseball foundation--hitting and defense. This camp will touch on all facets of the game and provide feedback on which direction each player needs to head in order to continue chasing the consistency level that all ball players are looking for. Pitching instruction will NOT be included in this camp.

Husker Classic Team Camp

The Husker Classic Team Camp is open to teams with players wishing to advance on into collegiate baseball. This exposure camp allows teams and individual players the opportunity to receive feedback from the Nebraska Baseball coaching staff. Instruction will be given in the areas of hitting, pitching and defensive fundamentals. Workout times will be scheduled for each participating team and games played throughout the weekend. Teams and coaches are also invited to attend Nebraska Baseball's Friday afternoon practice prior to the Fall Husker Classic.

Team Academy Practice

2nd Grade - 2013 High School Seniors

The Team Academy Practice is a great opportunity for the Academy staff to work with your program or organization on mechanics which need the most attention. Your coaches help with the design to make certain we are teaching skills that you are looking for! This camp does require a minimum of 12 participants with a minimum of 4 hours of instruction. The 4 hours may be divided into 2 separate sessions if time and travel allows and you wish to do so.

NEBRASKA BASEBALL ACADEMY REFUND POLICY

If it is necessary for you to cancel your camp registration, we ask that you do so at least 3 days prior to the camp date. If you cancel within this time frame, we will provide you with one of the following refund options:

Option #1 A 50% refund

Option #2 A FULL credit voucher to use on a Nebraska Baseball Academy camp (expires after 1 year)
